Weekend followed by Work

Aloha,

Last Friday I was in the office all by myself til Corrie came in after meetings in the afternoon. I worked on the weekly news letter and continued on my sponsorship package. I had the news letter ready to go by the time Corrie got back so all she had to do was double check it and we sent it off. Then I called it an early day to get a head start on the weekend, as Lenny had suggested the day before. Friday night I enjoyed the weather around campus and watched a movie via netflix.

This weekend was very laid back and still very fun. Saturday I explored a place called Puck's Alley which isn't too far from campus. I also walked around the UH football field, just because I had to see what it was like. It's quite bigger than Eureka's as you would expect but it also surprised me the amount of security guards there were in the middle of the day just walking around. It was a very nice stadium and it really is a shame I couldn't go practice kicking on it for a while.

Sunday I spent the entire morning down at Waikiki beach and just enjoyed the sunshine. It was very relaxing and the crowd was also very minimal.

Monday I spent the morning relaxing until that afternoon Corrie invited me to a Bar BQ at one of her friends houses and offered a chance to go kayaking in the ocean. I went and had great grilled steak and had a fun time kayaking with her friends brother, Adam. I had an enjoyable time and got to meat a lot of people and had a fun Memorial Day off from work.

Yesterday I worked on the web page some more and on the sponsorship package and I finished another page. Two inters started yesterday which means their will be more help when getting tasks done, which is always very helpful.

But, today I spent the day coming up with sponsorship ideas to present to Lenny tomorrow with an intern, Richell. I also added facebook and twitter links to the ROC website and finally got my note pad I designed up on the webpage, thanks to the web master's help. The webpage is starting to look a lot more modern with a lot more going on which is always a good thing.

Tomorrow I'll be working on sponsorship ideas with Lenny and trying to find ways to get more sponsors involved with ROC.

That's all for now!
